In 2008, former bastion of vaudeville entertainment El Cid hosted CLUB SCHMUTZIG, the dark dirty den of bygone debauchery, featuring Hollywood glamour, Weimar perversion and Algonquin wit. On Dec 22nd Victory Variety Hour resurrects the 1920’s club with a show that’s a little Cecil B DeMille, a little Louise Brooks, and a whole lot of Gatsby.
Starring NY’s infamous flapper GIN MINKSY in her only LA appearance.
With none other than the EGYPTIAN EPIC, as featured at the American Cinematheque’s 90th birthday bash. Come see what the vice squad wouldn’t dare let us show on the streets of Hollywood!

In addition to their twice monthly show at Skinny’s Lounge, VVH has produced LA’s and San Diego’s longest running sci-fi themed burlesque show SUPERNOVA A-GO-GO, and was featured in the Hollywood Fringe Festival with THE WRONG SHOW: A NIGHT OF OFFENSIVE MATERIAL.
